About me

My name is Yasemin. I’m a craftswoman, artist, writer, mother, and seeker of what makes us whole. As long as I can remember I felt the urge to
bridge different worlds, knowledge with creativity, feelings with understandingm growth with human connection. As I navigate the layers of my own being, I uncover teachings that pulse with the essence of life itself. I am forever drawn to the layers beneath the surface of life. In a world yearning for authentic connection, all my doings delve into the exploration of human relationships. Drawing from ancient thought traditions, modern science, holistic psychology and lived interactions, I love exploring how unions and connections act like gateways to self- discovery and transformation. Over the years, this has become more than a curiosity, more than healing, it has become a way of life.

I’ve been writing and creating pretty much all my life. I am drawn to the way words can become bridges, how stories soften separation and awaken understanding. Creating, in any form, becomes a sacred act of remembering, of making visible the invisible threads that connect us all.

I create across forms, languages, words, images, and textures, whatever the moment calls to. I love collecting minerals, feeling earth pigments between my fingertips, while also sitting by the computer and crafting things. Everything you find here is made slowly, gently, with integrity and reverence for what wants to be born.

With time I am learning that being a multidisciplinary artist means honoring the fullness of my expression, letting each medium speak in its own language. My background weaves through fine arts, work as a news reporter, graphic designer, creative workshops for children and holding space as a yoga teacher.

These threads now flow into what I offer: intuitive art rituals & movement, along with creative freelance services including graphic design, photography and soulful visuals for conscious brands and local initiatives.

I am also a contemplative human being. I can be pretty stubborn in my thinking, yet I change my mind easily because I’m always open to explore. I need to learn new things constantly. Making connections with other beings fills my soul with curiosity. That’s a good balance for me, and I like it that way.

At this moment in my life I find myself longing to root with my daughter by my side, in a space that breathes authenticity. I’ve chosen a path that doesn’t always make sense, but to me it does. Raising wilderness and wisdom while unlearning our programming and connecting to a more rooted self and the world around us, is my only way forward.

I believe each of us are eventually called to remember who we are, to meet the parts we got separated from, and to return to the ground beneath our feet and the steady centre within.

Now I’ve come to understand that creation only fulfills its true purpose when it is shared. My hope is that these offerings whether words, co-creation, art, objects or services, become small anchors of belonging in a world that often moves too fast.

Feel free to explore my portfolio, visit my art & ritual offerings or reach out to me below if you feel a connection to co-create.

I hope my sharings serve you in whatever way you need.
Thank you for being here/ Y
